SJCLL uses the Live Scan service to complete this background checks on all volunteers.

Live Scan requires only one screening process during your time in our league, however it gives us real-time information about our volunteers as profiles change, and provides that information through numerous and far-reaching agencies. 

The benefits of Live Scan include:

• Live Scan fingerprinting is collected only once and will suffice for the entire duration of your participation in SMVLL. 
• Live Scan is operated by the Department of Justice.
• The service provides real-time information throughout the year.

3.  Payment at a Live Scan Provider
        - You will need to personally pay the Live Scan charge at the time of the scan.
        - The league will reimburse the Live Scan payment.

4.  If you incur an out-of-pocket expense related to Live Scan, please scan or take a photo of your receipt and email it to SJCLL at  [email protected] for reimbursement  You will receive a check in the mail.
